Killing Eve’s Sandra Oh surprises viewers with Queen’s funeral appearance

Actor Sandra Oh was among those attending the Queen’s funeral, to the surprise of viewers. Sandra Oh attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday (18 September) as part of the official Canadian delegation. The actor, best known for her roles in Killing Eve and Grey’s Anatomy, was chosen to attend having become an Officer of the Order of Canada this year. This is the Canadian equivalent to the British OBE. She attended alongside musician Gregory Charles and Olympic gold medallist swimmer Mark Tewksbury, who are an Officer and a Companion of the Order of Canada, respectively. Viewers watching the service at home were surprised to see Sandra Oh arrive, as those present were largely world leaders and royalty.
